Department of Marine Sciences

Department of Marine Sciences has been operating since the inception of Faculty of Marine Sciences in 2005. So far, Marine Sciences Departments has produced more than 300 x BS Marine Science graduates-contributing well in society and offering their services in different Departments/Institutions/organizations both at national and international level.

In the beginning, Department of Marine was only offering BS Marine Sciences Degree but later it extended by launching two more MS Degree Programs; MS Marine Biology and MS Fisheries in 2013 and 2015, respectively.

Currently, Department of Marine Sciences has four HEC recognized programs; BS Marine Sciences, MS Marine Biology, MS Fisheries and PhD Marine Biology and more than 200 students are enrolled in different programs.
