INTRODUCTION

The Department of Animal Reproduction, established in 2020 as component of Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences. It offers in-depth study programs into the various aspects of animal reproduction. Facultyis highly engaged in providing quality education to undergraduate and postgraduate student is animal reproduction includes reproductive physiology, obstetrics &reproductive biotechnologies. Also,faculty and staffinvolved in research regarding developing, adopting and the application of recent advanced technologies to get maximum production and performance

It consists of three sub-units at main campus of University:

  1. Teaching/Clinic Unit
  2. Lab of Animal Reproduction
  3. Experimental animals (at Livestock Dairy farm)

MISSION

We struggle to providethe skilled professional personals in the field of animal reproduction for domestic as well as zoo animals. Developing, adopting and the application of recent advanced technologies in the field of animal reproduction to get maximum production and performance.

DOCTOR OF VETERINARY MEDICINE (DVM)

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

  1. Promote the standards of animal reproduction and reproductive health through intensive clinical care on the basis of recent procedures and techniques adopted in the research
  2. Produce skilled professionals and researcher in the field of reproductive physiology, endocrinology, reproductive biotechnology and animal reproduction.
  3. Adopt and conduct the research about reproductive protocol and procedures in the field of assisted reproductive technologies
  4. Facilitate the regional and inter-provincial farmer in capacity of reproductive health care and providing clinical facilities related to pregnancy diagnosis and reproductive health of their animal.
  5. Conduct awareness sessions, seminars and conferences for professionals, students and livestock farmers for learning recent advances in reproductive technologies.
  6. Provision of quality artificial Insemination (A.I.) services to the community.
