GIZ Organizes Four-Day Training Workshop on Livestock Production and Management

A comprehensive four-day training workshop titled "ToT for Livestock Production and Management" was successfully organized by the international organization GIZ for the esteemed faculty and students of the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences at Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences.

The prestigious event was hosted at PC Hotel, Karachi, where experienced trainers Mr. Naeem Akhtar and Dr. Mahmood Randahawa delivered invaluable insights on the transformative potential of the livestock sector in driving innovation, creating sustainable employment opportunities, and alleviating poverty in the region.

The workshop was honored by the presence of eminent personalities including DG NAVTTC Dr. Hussain Bakhsh Magsi, Deputy Director Mr. Adnan Baloch, Program Coordinator Mr. Shabbir Ahmed Kakar, and LUAWMS NAVTTC Focal Person Mr. Javed Baloch.

The grand concluding ceremony was graced by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Malik Tareen and Registrar Dr. Balach Rasheed, who presided over the certificate distribution ceremony and emphasized the practical significance of the training in enhancing professional capabilities.

DG NAVTTC Dr. Hussain Bakhsh Magsi commended the strategic expansion of NAVTTC initiatives across Balochistan, particularly highlighting the establishment of the Center of Excellence at LUAWMS as a landmark achievement in academic excellence and vocational training.
