A seminar was organized at the Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS) by the Media Cell in collaboration with the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences on the preparation, methodology, and guidance for competitive exams.

Mr. Atif Ameer, SSP District Lasbela, served as the keynote speaker and briefed students about the CSS examination and the broader civil service landscape. He emphasized the importance of dedication, goal-setting, and consistent effort in achieving success in the civil service.

Highlighting the potential impact of civil servants on society, he encouraged students to pursue the civil services as a meaningful and rewarding career path. He said, “Students should concentrate on education and play their role in serving the country and the nation.”

SSP Atif Ameer advised students to focus equally on reading and writing, as strong writing skills are crucial for success in CSS exams. Dr. Gulawar Khan, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, praised the efforts of SSP Atif Ameer, noting his success in passing the CSS exam on his first attempt. He described him as a “beacon of light” for young aspirants.

Dr. Gulawar further added that the purpose of this seminar was to equip students with the right strategies and information to excel in competitive examinations. He assured that similar seminars and lectures will continue to be held in the future to support students' academic and professional development.
